I had the absolute pleasure of performing at the beautiful Verzon House in Ledbury, Herefordshire for the wedding of Beth and Jonny. It was a day filled with love, laughter… and just a little bit of magic. 🎩
As a Herefordshire wedding magician, I’m lucky to be part of so many wonderful celebrations, but this one really stood out. Despite a little rain earlier in the day, the atmosphere was warm and joyful from the moment I arrived — proof that nothing can dampen the spirits of a great crowd (and a great couple!).
The Perfect Timing for Close-Up Magic
Beth and Jonny asked me to perform between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, which worked brilliantly. This is a golden window for close-up magic — just as the evening guests begin to arrive, and before the music and dancing kick off. It helps keep the energy high and gives everyone a shared experience to talk (and laugh) about.
There were around 100 guests, and the reactions were fantastic. From surprised gasps to full-on cheers, the atmosphere was electric. As always I performed a unique, personalised magical moment just for Beth and Jonny — a keepsake they’ll be able to look back on long after the cake is cut.
A Note on the Venue
This was my first time performing at Verzon House, and I hope it won’t be the last. The team were friendly and welcoming, and the setting — with views across the Herefordshire countryside — is absolutely stunning. It’s a perfect venue for couples looking for something stylish, elegant, and relaxed.
Small World Moment
Fun little twist: Beth and Jonny had actually seen me perform at another event earlier this year — and coincidentally, the weekend before their wedding, they were staying at Ellenborough Park, where I happened to be performing again. A magical coincidence if ever there was one!
